LEGAL

Exercising your rights

Last updated · 5 August 2026

You do not have to justify yourself to exercise your rights, and doing so is free. This page tells you exactly who to write to, what to expect, and how long it takes.

Who is responsible

Mindlapse SAS, 9 rue des Colonnes, 75002 Paris, France, RCS Paris 939 571 535, is the controller for the data processed on this website. Data protection contact: dpo@mindlapse.ai.

dpo@mindlapse.ai

The rights you have

  • Access: obtain a copy of the personal data we hold about you (art. 15).
  • Rectification: have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected (art. 16).
  • Erasure: have your data deleted where one of the legal grounds applies (art. 17).
  • Restriction: have processing frozen while a dispute is resolved (art. 18).
  • Portability: receive the data you provided in a machine-readable format (art. 20).
  • Objection: object to processing based on our legitimate interest, and at any time to direct marketing (art. 21).
  • Withdrawal of consent: at any time, as easily as you gave it, without affecting what was lawful beforehand (art. 7-3).
  • Post-mortem instructions: define what happens to your data after your death (French Data Protection Act, art. 85).

How to make a request

Write to dpo@mindlapse.ai stating the right you wish to exercise. Describing what you are looking for (a form you filled in, a newsletter, an exchange with our team) helps us find your data faster.

We only ask for proof of identity where there is genuine doubt about who is asking; we never keep a copy of an identity document.

We answer within one month of receiving your request. Where a request is particularly complex, that period can be extended by two further months, in which case we tell you within the first month, and why (art. 12-3).
